"Bella Luna"

This is "Bella". She's no Cattle Dog, but she definitely deserves her own page! Bella was my first dog... and my first rescue. She was (and still is) the most courageous, forgiving, noble animal I have ever met! Bella spent 2 years of her life on a 4 foot chain that was wrapped around her neck. She was bred repeatedly and her pups were sold or fought or both. When I rescued Bella Luna, she had been beaten and starved, and I was not sure how she would exist in a normal household... I carefully introduced her into my family, and in no time, she became the perfect companion! Unfortunately, a multiple dog household is not the right place for a Pit Bull type dog, and while most of the time the house was peaceful, the pressure and competition was too much for her (especially when competing with a bunch of Dingoes!) and she became more anxious and upset as time passed... She now lives the good life with my Ex, (she always liked him better anyway!) and his grandmother... on a big, comfy couch! EXACTLY where she wants to be!    I miss her dearly, every day, and letting her go was one of the hardest things I've ever done... she will remain in my heart forever!
