Thankfully, he is alive!
He suffered a dislocated hip, and after numerous
unsuccessful attempts at closed reduction,
it has been decided that the best course of action is surgery.
Spur is a young dog, and he deserves the best possible chance
at returning to his "old self".
We also feel that he deserves a life
free from the pain and discomfort of arthritis.
After much deliberation, and reviewing all of our options,
we have decided to have a total hip replacement performed.
Unfortunately, this is also the most expensive option...
The surgery costs $3800.
We feel that Spur deserves the best and that we owe it to him, but the costs of his recent Veterinary care, along with this proposed surgery have set us back financially, and we have decided to reach out to our friends in the canine community for help...
But we are asking for you to help us by purchasing a bag
(or two) of home-made dog cookies! They are made with love and care by ME, under the watchful eye of Spur of course, and 100% of the sales will go toward Spur's surgery!
After Spur's surgery, all proceeds will go to the "Spur of the Moment Fund" which will be set up to benefit any dog in need of costly surgery.

I am also sewing handmade crate mats, dog beds and wonderful fleece hot/cold packs (for dogs and people)

The mats are made with a double layer of polyfil quilt batting, are 100% machine washable, and come in 2 sizes, and a variety of prints. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee any particular print,
but Spur promises that you and your dog will love it!
